MANILA, Philippines – Buboy Villar, in tears after reaching out to Jose Manalo and apologized over hosting the new “Eat Bulaga,” in GMA 7 after the latter’s resignation. 

Manalo recalled his conversation with Villar during an ambush interview at the "TVJ and DABARKADS Media Day" last Tuesday, June 20. Reporter Dondon Sermino asked Manalo what he would think if he ran into the new "Eat Bulaga" hosts. “Wala, iko-congrats ko lang sila. Good job kasi may trabaho sila,” Manalo answered.

“Si Buboy, the night before ng live ay tumawag sa akin. Umiiyak talaga. [Sabi niya], ‘Kuya Jose, sorry,'”
