MANILA, Philippines — Liza Soberano makes her Hollywood film debut after a year of waiting.

Liza appears in the cast of 'Lisa Frankenstein,' a funny horror-romance film from 1989 directed by Zelda Williams and written by Oscar-winning Diablo Cody. The Filipina actress portrays Taffy, Lisa Swallows' (Kathryn Newton) social and popular stepsister. 

Lisa strives to settle into her new family, school, and life with Taffy's assistance following her mother's horrific death and her father Dale's (Joe Chrest) speedy remarriage to Taffy's mother Janet (Carla Gugino).

"Lisa Frankenstein" opens in theaters nationwide tomorrow, February 7.
