MANILA, Philippines — Tzuyang, a popular South Korean Youtuber known for her mukbang videos, is facing backlash for making racially insensitive jokes and mocking Filipinos in one of her recent videos.

Tzuyang and Kim Ji Young collaborated in a video titled "Vietnamese Restaurant Where You Eat In Line." In the video, Kim Ji Young portrayed the character of Ni Tong, a Filipino subscriber. The character Ni Tong is based on Filipino stereotypes in Korea.

Ni Tong introduced herself, speaking with a broken Korean and a Filipino accent, saying "Hello, I am Ni Tong, and I have a beautiful smile. I used to be a farmer's wife, but now I'm a comedian."
